The Maritime Patrol Aircraft An-32MP is designed for:

• patrol of the 200-mile exclusive economic area:
• smuggling and diversions preventions:
• fish resources protection.

The airplane is fitted with the following optional equipment:

• waterborne targets search and acquisition system;
• cameraman and sentries places;
• missile and bomb-carrying armament;
• skimming rescue equipment;
• updated fuel system carrying 7500 kg fuel;
• recreational space.

The airplane is equipped with:

• colored weather radar;
• maritime search radar with look angle 360?;
• navigation equipment of the GPS type;
• adjustable spot lamps;
• infra-red detection system;
• radar warning system;
• heat target emission system.

The aircraft secures patrolling:

• maritime boundaries bordering to the airdrome, within 4.5 h at H=600 m, V = 350-370 kph;
• area boundaries within 200 miles from the airdrome within 4 h at H=1000 m, V = 350-370 kph.
